ABOUT the REUNION

The Bangor John Glenn High School Class of 1984 is having their 30 Year Reunion this year, a five year tradition! The 30th is going to be similar in style to the 25th... very casual, low cost, and in downtown Bay City so people can move around a bit after the initial get-together.

There are a lot of events scheduled for the weekend. There'll be a Friday evening pre-gathering, golf on Saturday morning and for those non-golfers, a tour of John Glenn if you want to check out how the school looks today.

We're having a gathering on the night (Friday) before the "main event" for people who want to jump into the festivities a day early... or won't be able to attend the reunion on Saturday.

The Stein Haus is an Irish Pub in the East Side Downtown area with lots of craft beers to choose from.

Maple Leaf Golf Course

We'll be playing 18 holes at a local jewel, Maple Leaf Golf Course. It's likely we'll be playing the West - North courses (they have 3 nine hole courses). They have "beer carts" and a clubhouse with a full kitchen and bar. The course is located at:

John Glenn High School Tour

Just a simple tour for those of you who are curious to see all of the changes that've been made to the school in the last 30 years. There is no cost for the tour but please let us know if you want to go (for planning purposes).

Tours will be running continuously on Saturday, Aug 16th between 10:30am and 12:30pm.

"The Main Event"

This is going to be a simple affair. No dinner, just hors d'ouvres and your basic pre-paid bar... with craft beers, soft drinks and well drink mixers. This keeps the cost to a very manageable price, but if mixing-in premium liquors are part of your game plan for the evening, the bar on the main floor will do the trick.

PRICES & RSVP

By RSVP-ing for the various events (Reunion, Golf, High School Tour), you'll be giving us the chance to plan everything appropriately. And to incentivize the "pay-now" concept, there's an $8 discount when paying "on-time" for the main event (by Aug 6th)!

We'll need a count for the golf and tour(s) too, but no pre-payment is necessary for those events.
