Grid point
One location where we run the search, as if a customer were standing there with a phone.
Position
Where your business appears in the map results at that point: 1 to 3 is the Map Pack customers see first.
Average rank
Your average position across all points. Lower is better; it should fall as your local SEO work takes hold.
Top-3 coverage
The share of grid points where you are in the top three, the clearest picture of how much of your area you own.
Grid size & spacing
Tighter grids for dense city neighborhoods, wider spacing for suburban and rural service areas.
Competitors
Who holds the top spots where you don’t, so we can see what they are doing right.
